I got the whole kitchen clean. It was so awesome. I was so proud of myself. To have enough energy to do that is one thing — but I also managed to fold all *my* clothes. (Adam’s clothes are another story… those are for today.)
It’s been such a long time since I had enough energy and gumption to get all of that work done that I almost surprised myself by just getting the job done without getting sick.
Today, I’m doing well. I don’t have quite the energy that I did yesterday, but that’s ok! I don’t have as much work to do as I did yesterday.
Of course, the kitchen is on “perpetually needs to be cleaned” mode, since we’re constantly cooking for ourselves now, but once you get back into the habit of cleaning up after yourself as you go along, it’s not that big a deal… and since I cooked tonight’s dinner in the crock pot (instead of Adam cooking after he comes home from work, and me cleaning up afterward) the kitchen is already halfway clean.
Today, I’m having a wonderful time web-spidering PaleoParents.com for the Paleo Compendium. Matthew and Stacy have been so creative and thorough that it is adding a really “down home” feel to the content. Of course, I’m sort of being ADD about it, and am doing MultiplyDelicious at the same time.
This whole project is has me obsessive as hell. I keep thinking I’m going to have to check every paleo website on the web every day to keep up with it. That’s just silly, I know.
Anyway. I started this post in the morning, and now it’s mid-afternoon. I should publish it or something.
Just wanted to encourage your paleo-eating plan. I know it is hard to do but I believe you will be rewarded for your determination.
Thank you so much, Barbara!
