Doing better!

My fingers! They are not fuzzy any longer. For this, I am immensely grateful. There really are few things that are more annoying in a non-ignorable sort of way.

Today, I’m making a CostCo run with the in-laws to pick up more of the necessaries: salt, maple syrup, extra virgin olive oil, etc.

I’m glad that the weather has calmed down since last night, when it was hailing and snowing. Today, the weather is relatively calm.

Last night, Adam and I made, for the first time, paleo chocolate chip cookies, following the recipe from Elena’s Pantry. Of course, we didn’t have all the ingredients (Do we ever?) so we substituted honey for agave nectar, and homemade almond flour for blanched almond flour. They still turned out magnificent! (If not a little bit sticky and flat…) Either way, our sweet-teeth were satisfied!
